Subjects Taught
6th Grade Math

This past July I received my Masters degree in Middle Grades Education with the concentrations in math and English-Language Arts from Albany State University.

I received my Bachelor of Arts degree from Columbus State University in Columbus, GA and majored in Middle Grades of Education with the concentrations in Math and Language Arts.

This is my second year teaching in the Sumter County School System. I have had the privilege to teach 6th grade math and social studies last year at Staley Middle School. Also, I taught 8th English-Language Arts at Macon County Middle School for a half of year, January to May of 2014. I completed a wonderful semester of student teaching in Columbus, GA at Blackmon Road Middle School teaching 6th grade English-Language Arts. I have numerous experiences in different grade levels with both subjects mathematics and English-Language Arts in Muscogee County and Macon County School Systems.

I am the daughter of Gail Melvin Rumph and Henry Rumph. I was born September 13 in Americus, Ga. I am from Macon County, Oglethorpe, GA. I received my formal education from the public school system of Macon County. I love teaching math. I love working with kids and helping them discover new and exciting things about math. On my spare time, I love to spend quality time with my two beautiful nieces and my playful nephew, along with my family and friends.  My hobbies are dancing, talking on the phone, and enjoying life!

Teaching is my passion and making a difference is my goal!
