Mrs. Hollie Walters

Mrs. Hollie Walters is a native of Fitzgerald, GA.  She have lived in Americus for 20+ years. She has taught in many capacities which include:  3rd, 4th, 5th, and EIP teacher, homeroom teacher,  Exploratory writing lab teacher, general education within a co-taught setting, and served the gifted education population.   She is a graduate of Georgia Southwestern State University (B.S. in Middle Grades Education), Troy State University (Master of Education in Elementary Ed.), and Columbus State University (Ed. Specialist). Currently, she is attending Columbus State University pursuing a Educational Doctorate in Curriculum and Instruction.

Mrs. Walters is married to Reginald Walters, Sr. and together they have four children:  Reggie Jr. (18), Ryan (16), Eryn (9), and Trey (8).   She is a member of Union Tabernacle Baptist Church, where she serves faithfully. 

Mrs. Walter's favorite saying is "Teaching is not only a profession, it is a Passion."  She displays this in everything that she does.  She demands only the best from her students and strives to help everyone succeed!
