Students in Ms. Davis’ social studies class stepped into the role of journalists by creating news articles explaining what happened during the eruption of Mount St. Helens. To enhance their writing, they also illustrated detailed drawings to accompany their reports. Great job combining research, creativity, and writing skills!

Sumter County Intermediate School is a Title I school. Title I guidance requires that all parents in a Title I school be invited to provide input into all Title I plans and activities. We are having a meeting on February 10, 2026 at 11:00 AM & 5:30 PM in the school library.
