Return to School Survey
Attention Parents of Sumter County Intermediate School:
Please complete the 2020-2021 2nd Semester Return to School Survey
You will need to fill out one survey for each child.
Students will have the option to continue distance (at-home) learning or begin attending on-campus (face-to-face) learning at the beginning of the third nine weeks.
Please note whichever decision you choose, you will need to honor that choice for the duration of the entire second semester. If your child is planning on participating in face-to-face extracurricular actives and/or athletic competitions (sports), your child/children must return to school face-to-face. The survey will close on Sunday, November 15, 2020.
Information you will need:
• Your child's lunch ID number
• Your child’s name (last, first)
• Your child’s current grade level
• Your child’s homeroom teacher

D.I.V.A.S. on the Storm Dome Steps
D.I.V.A.S. at GSW

The Sumter County Intermediate School D.I.V.A.S. attended the Annual Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Convocation on Wednesday, January 29, 2020 at 11:00 AM in the Storm Dome at Georgia SouthWestern. The keynote speaker was the Rev. Tony Lowden of Maranatha Baptist Church in Plains, Georgia. The girls enjoyed the ceremony and lunch afterward. The D.I.V.A.S.(Distinguished Individuals Vigorously Achieving Success) is an organization sponsored by SCIS teachers Ms. Vontessa Kendall, Ms. Tanyette Hill, and Ms. Camihya Ray.
